When it comes to your wardrobe, Lauren says: 'Lined storage bins are great for storing delicate items of clothing and prevent them from snagging.'
And if you have a busy family home, Lauren adds: 'Open storage baskets with handles are great for kids' toys – that way kids won't have to struggle with lids and can literally throw it all back in when it comes to tidy up time.'
Tasha's storage tip: 'Choose a storage basket that matches the colour scheme of the room you're in so it will look good on display by the side of the sofa or tucked away in a cupboard for extra storage.'
The location of your storage basket completely depends on its use. 'I love to use a storage basket at the front door,' says Lauren. 'It tends to be the place where items get dumped. I say embrace it and add a stop-gap storage basket.'
Tasha suggests keeping storage baskets on hand throughout the house: 'Have them by the side of the sofa with an extra throw in them, in a bedroom as a laundry basket, or even outside with a few plant pots in!'
