G-SHOCK’s “Utility” series is finally here, including metal-clad iterations of the GM-2100 series. The range debuts the silver GM-2100C-5A, black GM-2100CB-1A and dark gray GM-2100CB-3A models, all of which inherit the iconic octagonal shape of the GM-2100 range, paired with a canvas band available in various neutral colorways.

The series harkens back to the GA-2100, updating its octagonal facade with a forged full-metal construction. Its base model references elements of the DW-5000C, which maintained a slim profile and digital-analog combination. Marrying these concepts to create a sharper appearance, the GM-2100C-5A, GM-2100CB-1A and GM-2100CB-3A deliver a metal case back, a bezel with a round hairline finish applied to the top surface and a mirror polish added to the sides. Available in three colorways with khaki-colored straps (silver/tan, black/black and dark gray/forest green), the line is shock-resistant with 200-meter water resistance. Featured models are equipped with world time in up to 31 time zones, a countdown timer, double LED backlighting, a Super Illuminator LED at the face and a full auto-calendar.

The metal and nylon combination is a more refined interpretation of the brand’s toughness, tailored for a casual set looking for an everyday statement piece.
