More than 22,000 high chairs are being recalled because they pose a fall risk to children, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
In a news release on Thursday, the CPSC said that Clark Associates, based out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, recalled 22,450 chairs under the Lancaster Table & Seating brand in the U.S., with an additional 52 from Canada.

According to the CPSC, “The high chairs can break, posing a fall hazard to children.”
There are three reports of the chairs breaking while in use. None of the children were injured.
The high chairs have black, mahogany, natural or walnut finishes and were sold in either assembled or ready-to-assemble form, according to the CPSC.
According to the CPSC, consumers should immediately stop using the high chairs and return them to any of the Restaurant Store locations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware or Maryland, Consumers can also contact Clark Associates for a free replacement or refund in the form of a store credit and instructions on how to properly dispose of the product.
Only models made in China are involved in the recall. They were sold at the Restaurant Store and online at www.therestaurantstore.com and www.webstaurantstore.com from January 2022 through September 2022. Prices ranged between $43 and $65.
